I don't know. I think that's a pretty fair assessment. Victory started out taking on Harley something even the Japanese haven't succeeded at. It's obvious that all the V Twins from the Big 4 are better mechanically than Harley but have been labeled "Me Too" motorcycles. Victory should have started out with something different, even a big bore standard and followed up with something entry level. Indian may succeed since it has the name. Or, as I said, Polaris should have purchased the rights to an older name like Pierce or even Columbia. Phony heritage seems to work just fine.
