Ordered the "Sunny style" triple tree from them based on the measurements they listed on their website, specifically 27mm fork tube holes. When it arrived, it turned out to have 26mm tube holes, not 27mm, and my 27mm tubes would need to be beat in with a sledge to make them fit.
I contacted them yesterday, long story short, multiple excuses and stories and ultimately they're claiming a 26mm opening is actually a 27mm opening and won't pay for the return shipping. That would be after one "manager" even lied to me and said Rick was not the owner but just a shipping manager...
added* out of the blue, scrappydogs has given me a full refund, which resolves the issue. Since they are not requiring me to return the tree, anyone who needs it and wants to pay shipping can have it for free.

oh look, the troll is on multiple forums, how cute.
but as stated, the business resolved the matter and refunded my money, and the tree is on it's way to a new owner for the cost of shipping, so everyone but the troll is happy.

That reminds me of vendors that tell you that the 66cc and 80cc HT engines share identical bores and strokes. (They actually are identical).

I bought a cylinder head from them a couple of years ago. It was fully assembled at the least expensive price on the web. It actually increased throttle response and acceleration over the original head. It came in a timely manner and was well packed.

Things happen, negative thread on some form of error when a full refund was issued. I don't agree with that. Scrappy s is one of the good guys.

When I posted this, I had three different stories from three different employees, one of whom even tried to tell me the owner was just a shipping employee, and had not been notified of a refund, perhaps you shouldn't make assumptions.

You aren't making any friends here with such negativity. Scrappy has more good marks than bad. They refunded your money. I don't see the beef.

This customer had ordered a sunny steering stem, which we have had listed on our website for nearly 7 years, and have had no complaints. This is listed with the measurements of 27mm ID at the fork clamp for 27mm sunny style forks. As you can see in this picture, they are indeed 27mm. This customer had made claims that it was 26mm. We replied that the customer is welcome to return the steering stem and we'll inspect and measure it to ensure that our advertisement was correct, and if it was not, that we would gladly refund the customer his entire payment, plus return costs. The customer made incessant calls, messages, forum postings, emails, etc. His messages over 2 days were brutal, and we have them recorded. Osa, one of our phone gals, was appalled at the vulgar language and machine gun threats this customer was making to her. Osa had told him that he can return it and we'll take care of it. The customer insisted that we send him a return label as it was our 'mistake' and was mis-advertised. We spot checked our inventory with digital calipers and our inventory was correct and as advertised. The customer continued to blow up our phones with calls one after another yelling and screaming. My wife happened to be in the office and answered the phone. This customer passed even saying hello or explaining the issue to another person as my wife was not abreast of what was happening. We do have other customers. This guy started yelling and cussing and making such personal insults to my wife that she had tears in her eyes. She didn't even know who this was, or why he was yelling at her, and she couldn't even say anything to this guy because he wouldn't stop yelling at her. She called me up and told me what happened. I immediately decided to just refund this customers purchase, plus shipping costs, and let him keep the part as it's not worth all this over a 39. part to have my wife crying. If this is so important to this guy that he feels the need to be so angry and insulting to other people and women, then let him enjoy his free part. Now, even though he got a free part, has all his money, and the issue was resolved in less than 2 days, he is now on multiple forums attacking our business. I just don't understand why, or what's going on with this, but here are the facts, and here is the picture showing it as such. Rick

I've never even ordered a nut from scrappy,,,and I can tell by all the reviews and reports of clean accurate parts fast shipping courteous service that scrappy is a stand up company,,,what am I missing here?,,,,,
