Are you sure it is not moving, can you show us a video with sound? Is it just that the engine may be too hard to turn by hand (compression on 150cc scoots are generally too hard to turn by hand, use a socket wrench on the flywheel or end of the variator/output shaft to turn it), or does it feel as if it is tapping against something, or does it feel and sound like it is scraping something? It may be possible it is still jammed but only at a certain point in rotation getting caught and rejamming (which happens with kickstarters with chewed up gears, can even engage while you are riding and cause a complete failure of all transmission parts). As I said; remove the kickstarter gears if they are causing issues, you can use your electric starter instead. Literally unscrew/remove the CVT cover, and with yoru hands, reach in, and gently pull the gears out, it's just that easy man. Okay, so far: I have pulled the CVT cover, and removed the gears and the kickstarter with my own hands. Pulled out all of the gears that are there. I have used a socket wrench on the flywheel, and it still gets stuck at the same point if I turn it clockwise or counterclockwise. I have cleaned up all the junk inside of the CVT case. I've done that, and I've uploaded a youtube video of the sound that it makes. let me give you the link: The sound you hear is my wife shuffling her feet a tad bit, but when the camera turns I start the scooter, and then that big metal "CLANK" comes from the engine. It is when it will no longer turn over, and I cannot get it to budge past that part. As I have looked into the problem more and more, read up on this, watched videos on engines, and tried to do my homework. Knowing that the lower valve is the exhaust, and knowing when the fuel valuve opens up, I can see that the piston is at the top of the cycle when it starts, goes down, and gets jammed just before it reaches the bottom. I can upload more videos if needs be, and with better quality (the lights had just gone out due to a thunderstorm).

So I found the problem. The CVT gears thing wasn't working and I decided to tear into the front end in order to see what I could see. Turns out that there is a washer-like piece that is just above the fuel intake valve, right off of the cylinder head. That washer exploded, and the pieces got jammed into the valves along with damaging the cylinder head. So, It looks like I need a new top end to my engine. Here are some pictures if you'd like to see them: drive.google.com/open?id=0B_9qP6Kgqf7DbVJCeDBCTUxieDQdrive.google.com/open?id=0B_9qP6Kgqf7DeHZFZ3V2UV81RW8If you have any preferences on where you get your scooter parts, especially for a new top end, feel free to contact me. -Johnathon Kreider

Oh man, had a very similar issue recently, feel bad for you and ur scoot. Be very careful taking it apart and putting it back together when installing the new head. Make sure to find the cause of the foreign object before installing the new head or may have to do it again.
At this point you have a few options, you can get a gasket, and a new top end head with valves already installed and ready, this will return it back to it's former glory. You can also go ahead and do a big bore kit upgrade since you already have it taken apart, or if you don't want to pull the cylinder and piston out you can simply get a large valve head which will increase the input and output abilities of the engine and give you some more oomph once tuned to the new specs.
I can't tell from the pics if your cylinder is trash or not, needs a lot more light, but that head may be salvageable but the chances are not worth the cost of time and parts so best to replace/upgrade.

Thanks for looking it over, I appreciate it. The cylinder itself is in good condition. The top if the piston head is a bit damaged, so I don't trust it too much. I think I'd like to do a Big Bore kit upgrade, that would be awesome. Can you point me in the right direction on the threads to look at for that? After looking over google, youtube, and searching in the forum, I can't seem to find direct instructions or a "How to." I'll certainly look into Scrappy's shop, it seems to be a very good dealer. Let me know if you ave any other ides of things that I can work on or modify, at this point I have a bit of cash burning a hole in my pocket and the weekend coming up so I can tinker. Thank you! -Kreider

I would strongly suggest getting an experienced mechanic to put together your top end, don't even attempt to put it back together. Or, start doing research and learn how to understand every aspect of your engine, then you would be prepared to do a BBK. At this point either way you should get a mechanic, or do the required research. Once you have done so the above won't be a question anymore. BBK's are not for beginner mechanics, they require a certain level of skill and finnesse if you don't want to ruin it and end up somewhere 1-3k miles later wondering why your engine completely shat the bricks and became an ugly useless paperweight.
To get you started, I suggest trying to actually put the effort in to try to find the info you need, then we can help you but we aren't here to do sh for you. I googled "big bore kit guide" and found many many pages on how to do it... so... not sure how you had difficulty finding that. If you have questions we can clarify, but please try a little bit bro...

there are trolls on every forum, in every pursuit or hobby, just ignore them, they're entirely inconsequential.
