OK just ordered my new Roketa MCR-07t-50cc scoot and I'll have it in a week or so. What is the first thing I need to do when it arrives(PDI)? The place said it was restricted, but still it will run 45+The man said get a unrestricted CDI an it would be even better, ect. Any how I'm use to 4t scoots an just need some heads up on my new project P.S. I just don't see it being that fast being It's restricted

one of the 1st things i'd do is follow this link x1scooters.com/pdi.html
since its 2t you will have to wait for the 2t guys on how to de-restrict it. i know theres a washer that can be taken off easily, idk where tho. the guys will tell ya

Might not be restricted if it does 45 but you wont be disappointed, please keep use updated on it, first thing i would buy is a pipe if the cdi isnt restricted, but i would like to know what kind of cdi it has and you will need some 2t oil, a lot of people say not use it but i use the tc3 valvoline from autozone a lot of people like to use the higher branded stuff but i have no trouble with it but if you can afford the better stuff i would use it.

Yes the 10s are way off and 12s should ride better . I would use semi synthetic like Lucas or Maxxima and later go with a full synthetic . Remember make sure it says for oil injection as some are premix only 2T oils . I use a NGK BRPHIX iridium sparkplug which keeps it running at its best Here is some derestricting tips www.scootnfast.com/scooter/Tuning_mods/De-Restricting.htm . A pipe will make a huge improvement on a 2t with proper upjetting to balance it out

I'm sure its 1e40qmb but i like the name brand parts what you need to find out is wither its a 10mm or 12mm wrist pin size where i order my parts the model of 2t usually wont matter for engine parts but like mention before you need to find out what size you have the will determine what varitor size you have also here is a link on scappydog on how www.scrappydogscooters.com/Tech_Talk_with_Mo_.htmlwww.racingplanetusa.com/www.spmotostore.com/category_s/3026.htmscootertuning.ca/en/MINARELLI 2STROKE PISTON PIN SIZE DIFFERENCE , 10MM vs 12MM and variator size difference Hey MO! How the heck do I know if my Minarelli based engine has a 12mm or 10mm wrist pin, without taking it all apart first? - Confused in Chicago Our knowledge database is growing, but we know a few things. Adly's and Hammerheads are 10, so are the Italian Minarelli engines like Malaguti, Italjet, Beta, and Aprillia. The 12mm pin is found on later CDI's, chinese JOG-2T, Vento Triton. These engines are poplular in 2-stroke full size scooters and ATVs such as Malaguti, Yamati, United Motors X-Speed, Aprilla, CPI, Benelli, Vento, Eton, Adly and many more. Italian made units tend to use 10mm pins (Chinese JOG 2T clones tend to use 12mm) please measure and check before ordering. Certain brands such as CPI / United Motors / Muz older models used 10mm newer post 2004 use 12mm. All Italian made models use the 10mm such as Aprilia / Malaguti / Italjet that are Yamaha Minarelli based. Probably the most accurate, without complete disassembly, is to measure the inside diameter of your variator pulley. If it is 21mm, your wrist pin is 12mm. If it is 18mm, your wrist pin is 10mm. You can also count the number of splines on the outer variator face where it mates with the crank. The smaller 18/10mm crank has 17 splines, the larger 21/12mm crank has 15. The larger crank was originally designed for the JOG90 engine, but comes in 50cc too. Also, don't confuse your Minarelli 2stroke with the Franco Morini type two stroke found in TGB R5 Laser, Key West, 101S, the Suzuki Address, and some Italjets. These kits are also available from Scrappydogs, as they are authorized dealers for TGB products. Hope this helps. MO!

My last scoot that I had,I used Bel-Ray 2t oil an never had a bit of trouble. I'm not going to be able to get any 2t oil until our scooter shop opens. I live in a small town in Indiana an it's still freezing cold outside. No auto parts place here even keeps it in stock. Auto Zone has chain saw 2t oil but sure don't want that stuff, may have to order it,or may have to go out of town. Up Date: Ordered some Bel-Ray Semi Synthetic 2t oil from Parts For Scooters, it will be here before my new scoot arrives.
