EPA has blocked 2Ts from coming into the USA . There is some Rocketa Air50s which are 2T out there . If you have the cash an Aprilia SR50 with EFI and LC engine would rule but it is twice as much money . Here is a list of afew 2T scooters . I have a Jonway Magnum like the orange one but mine is blue . Hard to find a 50 with rear disc brakes and 13 inch wheels 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/2765Jonway makes Wasp and another 2T model if you can find one . I hated to miss out on getting a CPI GTR that has to be the best looking scooter ever . a 2T is far more fun and faster than the 4Ts by a long way

EPA has blocked 2Ts from coming into the USA. Unfortunately this is the case for 2Ts. The Aprilia SR 50 is currently the only 2T scooter that I'm aware of that has an EPA Cert and that Customs will pass. We can't even import engines anymore. I do know that there are still a handful of ETON Beamer 50's still floating around out there though, and they are a pretty quality scoot as well. Matt

Thats kinda steep but they are excellent scooters.
For that price you might as well drop a little extra and get a Genuine Rough House or a nice Kymco 2 stroke.
"I just missed out on getting a CPI GTR those are super sweet with 17 inch wheels and LC engine" Damn I have never even heard of those. Pictures?

All 2Ts cost more than the 4T 50s . Mine was listed at 1,400 where my TaoTao ATMa 50 was 699 . The cheapest 2T I have seen was a Rocketa AIR 50 for 999 . Here is a link to a CPI GTR which is rare and to me one the best looking modern style scooters www.wearemoto.co.uk/cpi/scooters/gtr-50.phpI hated the ride and handling on my TaoTao with its 10 inch wheels as it was unstable at top speeds and too small for me as I am 6ft 4 . My Jonway Magnum has 130/60/13 tires and beyond day and night differences in ride and handling . I would suggest getting 12 or 13 inch wheels as they are wider , have a faster speed rating than the 10s and much safer . I think the Kymco People is a 2T with taller 16s but they are narrow and I really like scooters with " doughnuts " ( fat tires ) . Bumps , cracks , uneven road surfaces and high wind do not bother me at all on my Magnum with unbalanced " street knobbies " which reminds me of an old school minibike with the knobbie bounce effect but yet so stable I can take a turn with no hands and I feel so safe on it . CPI is a much better brand than Peace or TaoTao which are very common but not as easy to find . I hope you find a CPI Oliver or other 2T scooter as IMO for a small scooter a 2T is the way to go with less parts to service or repair , like no oil changes or valves to adjust , and with a BBK , pipe and rejetting you can out run some 150s and make those on a 4T 50 to 80cc scooter get 2T envy . Every one of my 49cc street toys was a 2T except for the TaoTao which I hated it . I had a Honda Elite , stock and a Honda Spree hot rodded with a 70 or 90cc engine done by the local Honda shop from the previous owner . I bought the Spree wrecked . I replaced the front wheel , tire and forks since he had ran into a fence . I cleaned the airfilter , changed the gear oil , installed a NGK iridium and never touched it again other than putting in gas and 2T oil in the injector tank . I put over 12,000 miles on it and had no idea they had a belt drive as I thought it was shaft driven . I could outrun a 4T with 80cc BBK with me having a passenger on with ease . I only used the kickstart 2 or 3 times just to see if it worked . I had nothing but fun times on it and used it as a comparison to the TaoTao which sucked . I only had the stock Elite for 2 months as I bought and sold mopeds , motorcross and streetbikes when I was a pup . My pedal mopeds were 2T but very slow with single speed chain drive instead of having a CVT and they had a tubular exhaust instead of having an expansion chamber style which really makes a 2T zoom. Sorry to have rambled on so much but I truly love 2Ts and I know you will too once you get one . Stock mine would always hit 45 sometimes 50 on the speedo with my 200 lb self on it . Radar tests showed I was 4 MPH less than what it displayed . With a BBK , MMG pipe , Uni , racing CDI and upjetted I can get the needle to where 65 or 70 would be with 5 gram rollers . 4 gram was too light as I have the larger variator like that on the 90cc engine so its not a blazing takeoff but its mean midrange and top end . I can get it to pop a wheelie without pulling back at 50 MPH as the powerband peaks around 9,000 RPMs and drops a lil at 10,500 . The stock 49cc would only run good up to 8,000 but had exhaust port and pipe restriction . Some porting , pipe gutting and rejetting could easily hit close to 60 MPH . I have had mine soft seize twice once while testing a Uni another from the oil pump . Now I did use a Uni vent cover with a mainjet and it was awesome with the 49cc engine . Put on the big red Uni it had just a lil bog and dang it soft seized less than a half mile . Only use premium 2T oil not the weedeater junk . Premix is a safer option but a hassle . You can get a Mikuni oil pump around 50 dollars but may need a new throttle cable like I did part # 159-26 from PFS Jetting on a 2T is more picky and crucial so its much better to run rich with a large main jet and turn out the air/fuel screw 1/8 to 1/2 turn as its better to burn more gas and oil than push it home . A 4T has tranny drag which helps in braking where a 2T coasts . I use NGK BRP8HIX sparkplug which is the iridium so its runs at its best and less prone to fouling out from oil deposits than a standard NGK

[replyingto=burnrubber]burnrubber[/replyingto]I just saw this bike on the website for scootsusa.com but theirs have 12 in tires so maybe not what you want. Check it out. I bought my Bellini m50 Pepe from them last fall. It has issues but seems to be running as intended right out of the box. Mark has been good about responding to questions for me so far.
