Motors like cool air and they make more power when cool. So running at night your motor will produce more power.
Running during the daytime and if it is warm out the motor will not make as much power.

Next time you run down that road again during the daytime also Video what your SPEEDO reads when you hit the Radar Speed sign to see how far off the speedo is reading.

Making a run down a road that declines all the way you an easly pick up 10mph or more depending on the length of the declining road. It doesn't take much of a decline to pick up extra speed the weight is making it roll faster and keeps on picking up speed as it keeps going down. Honestly, I would say you have a scoot that will do an honest 60mph on a flat road with no wind.

I still never ordered a speedo cable since it broke over a month ago . " not sure if u remember when I posted my speedo cable broke awhile back " But I will try to get the gauge cluster it the pic for the rpms .Oh yeah I was also crouching over does that count ? Lol . Many are able to hit a little over 60 mph with a new exhaust , uni , new cdi and coil and removing the emissions and tuning the cvt . So it's not hard to imagine upping my bore , installing a bigger racing head with bigger ports , bigger manifold , I'm throwing much more air and fuel thru the engine with a 32mm pumper carb , and installed taller gears . There should be no doubt it can hit 67mph . Next thing is to come see for yourself

Yes, day and night make a big difference on how a motor runs, at night the air cools and motors make more power with cool air. Any mechanic worth a grain of salt will also tell you that. So you just learned something that you did not know which is a good thing. Let me ask what do you believe your displacement is with your mods over the Stock 149.6 cc motor?  

No doubt it can hit 67 yes and it did you proved that BUT and here is the big BUT going down the hill it did

Now we learn no speedo cable things are just going more down hill.

I don't think you understood what I meant . Is Said hills matter meaning they don't count for a top run I agree . And yes night and day matter in performance " depending on the humidity and temp" but what I meant was the excuse that it dosent count because its night time " a little after 9 pm " . I can tell your surprised it hit 73 mph down that small decline of a hill . Your the one that made the 10 mph pickup downhill and the nighttime excuse . Trust me I didn't expect that you would except it because it is still a " down hill run " but most of us know that these scoots will not pick up 10 mph on a small decline like that . So most knowing that , will atleast see that my scoot more than likely will hit 67 on a straight run . The problem is that even if they move one of these radar signs or put one up on a perfectly straight run I'll more than likely hear a new excuse why it dosent count . No need to get ignorant about this " the whole any mechanic worth his salt , u learned something new " . I know u just miss understood me but still , ease up a little . No need to get that way . I'm having a blast makin these runs .

5 mph yes , but no matter how long the hill is you hit a point where the engine will not pull you any faster . I agree 5 mph is possible I just did 6 mph , but how many times have you gained 10 mph on a small decline . You didn't confirm what he said .

I wish this bridge was level, I spent 5 years riding a bicycle over it!
