the valves dont look 21mm and 17mm.....but could be wrong.....have fun...be safe.....buford.

Just measured them. They are exactly 21 and 17.
I'm looking forward to getting this all together. A9 Cam, Big valve head, big carb, and intake. I think I'm good to go. Hopefully I'll be able to kick it over on e-start. If not I'll probably rip what's left of my hair out. LOL

FYI, for anyone that is thinking about buying the scrappy head make sure you have gaskets. The order didn't come with one but luckily I had just ordered the full engine gasket kit from them last month.

millsc what size main did you run in your carb for the 52mm? This one has a 105 which I'm worried might be a bit too large.

Head stood up to the light leak test. Put a super bright 500 lumen light on the ports in a pitch black room and no light coming through the valves! Thanks millsc I'll downjet if needed. |
