Tomorrow is the 22nd annual ride your scooter or motorcycle to work day.. "Ride To Work Day" is tomorrow! Ride your motorcycle on this day to demonstrate: *The # of motorcyclists and scooters to the general public & to politicians. *That motorcyclists and scooters are from all occupations & all walks of life. *That motorcyclists and scooterist can reduce traffic & parking congestion in large cities. *That motorcycles and scooters are for transportation as well as recreation. *That motorcycling and scootering is a social good. ridetowork.org/ |

Looks like I'll be missing yet another RTWD. I haven't gotten my scoot-legs back yet so I'm not chancing it.
May I postpone my RTWD for a month?

Larry, it's what Hank said. I just need to spend some time at the college church across the creek, where there's this grand system of parking lots and feeder roads, and usually very few other vehicles.
By "college church" I mean a congregation of quite possibly several thousands. Not your little campus chapel. That's why their lot is so very large, and so very useful for my practising!
I know with some practise, and Hank's prayers, and the others' good wishes, I'll be scooting to work in not too long. And then I'll have my official RTWD.
