[replyingto=rockynv]rockynv[/replyingto]Bad info, having an opinion on which oil you like or recomend is one thing but to give this type of info is completely wrong. If this where the case how are these engines running so good on synthetics. Wether you use your basic oil or synthetic is up to every owner out there. And neither oil is goin to cause these engines to be destroyed. I changd the oil every 500 to 1000 miles , just because its so cheap. The 10 w 40 royal purpal runs me between 7 and 9 bucks a quart. I usually run my scoot 4000 to 5000 miles in my 8 month season so i usually spend between 50 and 60 bucks a season on oil. When i got my scoot i used basic 10w40 penzoil i would change the oil every 300 to 500 miles . Not that i had to But thats just me. Since i got my new engine with the mods i just feel that the synthetic i use is better for my scoot then any non synthetic out there. And so far my scoot seems to love it. Im not implying that everyone should change their oil that often , its just somthing i like to do. I just think the we should keep the info here within reason.
